Two days ago, my Luxray, Flash, died. It was not pretty or enjoyable. The fact that a Tentacruel killed it makes it downright humiliating.
I was training Flash to 71 to prepare for the Sinnoh Elite Four, and came across a Tentacruel when she had about 20 HP over half health. Her accuracy went to crap in that battle, and missed with Thunder Fang twice, allowing the Tentacruel to use Wrap and Water Pulse to confuse Flash. I hadn't noticed the latter part, so when I tried to have Luxray attack with Thunder Fang again, she hurt herself. The Tentacruel used Poison Jab, bringing Flash's health down to 40 and poisoning her. The poison damage brought her health to 12 and the Wrap killed her. Rest in peace, my dear Flash. She was caught in a perfect storm, and was only the second Pokemon that I had lost, the first being a Bidoof that I hadn't had the time to become attached to.

Shiny Nuzlocke
Holy crap, yesterday was absolutely amazing for my Pokemon Nuzlocke. I hadn't played in a few months, so I had to remind myself which clauses and rules I was using. There weren't many, but I was absently wandering through the tall grass while doing this. Just as I thought of the Shiny Clause, I found myself in a wild Pokemon battle on Sinnoh's Route 208. It was a red Meditite. I had just found my 4th legitimate Shiny Pokemon. Of course, I caught it, and I came into possession of Kung-Shi, the Brave Meditite girl.
